21 dead after two migrant boats sank in the Aegean Sea

The Greek coast guard announced Wednesday that it has recovered the bodies of 21 people from two migrant boats that sank earlier this week.

Twenty of these bodies were found Wednesday near the island of Evia, where a dhow with 70 people on board is believed to have sank in rough seas, according to a spokeswoman for the Greek coast guard.

Also on Tuesday, a body was found off the coast of the island of Samos, believed to be a person who died in the sinking of a small boat that sailed from the Turkish coast and was carrying 12 people.

More than 30 people are feared missing in the sinking of the boat off Evia, and seven others in the sinking off Samos.
