Hotels, bars, restaurants and food shops pay a considerably higher electricity bill in Italy, for the same consumption and power used: they have an average electricity cost that is 27% higher than Spanish companies and even almost 70% compared to the French ones.

This is what emerges from an analysis carried out by Confcommercio-Nomisma.

Among the causes are the lack of diversification of energy sources and suppliers.

Confcommercio also fears that due to inflation there will also be heavy effects on families who lose 77 billion of purchasing power.
