Russia: The rallies that carried out the Crimean attack used the "safe zone" to export grain

Russia announced Sunday that it had found the wreckage of the drones that attacked its fleet in Sevastopol, noting that it used a "safe zone" to export grain and raising the possibility that it was launched from a "civilian ship".

The Russian Defense Ministry said that "navy drones were moving in the safe zone of the grain export corridor," adding that they had "lifted" part of the wreckage of the drones from the sea.

On Saturday, Russia suspended a deal on grain exports from Ukrainian ports vital to the world's food supply, in response to an attack it blamed on Ukraine and Britain.

The grain deal has allowed the export of millions of tons of grain stuck in Ukrainian ports since the conflict began in February.

The blockade of Ukraine's ports caused a rise in food prices, which raised fears of famine in several countries.
