The mother of the child found dead on Saturday on the banks of the Huveaune river in Marseille admitted to having killed her son, autistic, "with the help of a knife taken from the kitchen", and this from Friday, announced the prosecution Sunday in a press release.

Placed in police custody on Saturday evening, this 39-year-old woman admitted to having first "hit her son" in her apartment on Friday, the day she reported his "disappearance", before taking him "in the ravine" (on the banks of the Huveaune), where the lifeless body was found on Saturday by the child's father and uncle.

It was “on the spot” that she killed him with this knife, specified the prosecutor of the Republic of Marseille, Dominique Laurens, specifying that the child “died in the afternoon, even before the report of his disappearance.
