“A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under part 2 of article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers),” the Western Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia said.
Investigators found that the pilot did not have permission to provide paid services and the right to fly an aircraft.
The investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region reported the death of two people as a result of the fall of a trike in the mountains of Adygea.
It is noted that the hang glider caught fire during the fall.
