relation to the Itaewon disaster, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo, who presided over a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters at the government complex in Seoul, said that he would first express his deep condolences to the dead.

First, the government decided to closely manage the seriously injured, such as providing treatment by connecting a staff member of the Ministry of Health and Welfare on a one-to-one basis.



For the deceased and their bereaved family, the person in charge of the local government will connect one-on-one to support the funeral, and the person in charge of the Ministry of Welfare will also support it.
