With our special correspondent in Moundou,
Yves Laurent Goma
It was under the shade of the mango trees in the courtyard of the governorate that the ministerial delegation received the various local chiefs of Moundou and its surroundings.
A native of the city he
led three times as mayor, Médard Laoukein
did not mince his words:
The city of Mondou had a shock on October 20th.
Why did Mondou record a good dozen innocent deaths?
It is completely normal that we come to cry with you, and at the same time give you advice.
In the program of the delegation, no meeting with the leaders of the opposition coalition Wakit Tama let alone
the Transformers, the party of Success Masra
.
The meeting with the religious leaders is scheduled for this Saturday.
The Archbishop of Moundou, Joachim Kouraleyo Tarounga did not wait for this day to speak.
He has already suggested to the
government to put order
within the army.
People cannot be asked to seek peace: they want peace.
It is to those who have come to disturb the population that we should ask not to shoot at people or to threaten them.
After Moundou, the government delegation will travel to Doba, Koumra and Sarh.
