In an announcement by a spokesperson, the North Korean Army's General Staff asserted that a frigate belonging to the South Korean 2nd Fleet had violated the maritime military demarcation line in the waters northwest of Baengnyeong Island in the early morning of this morning under the pretext of cracking down on ships, and it was suggested that it fire a 'warning fire'.



The North Korean Army's General Staff issued instructions to the coastal defense units of the Western Front to be thoroughly monitored and prepared for response, and at 5:15 pm, 10 rockets were fired near the area of ​​occurrence to take an initial response to build a strong enemy ship. claimed to have taken



North Korea also said that the North Korean military fired 10 threat warning shots at 5:15 a.m. in the Ryongyeon-gun area in a 270° direction.
