A driver lost control of the steering wheel, causing it to veer severely and crash into a pole at the entrance to the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi hospital yesterday.
The Traffic and Patrols Directorate stated that preliminary investigations showed that the cause of the accident was due to the loss of control of the vehicle, which led to its swerve and collision with a pole at the entrance to the hospital.
The Command and Control Center of the Operations Department in the Central Operations Sector received a notification of the accident, and police patrols, ambulances and rescue patrols from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority moved to the site, and the injured person was treated.
