Toyota had already suspended its activity in Saint Petersburg several months ago.

But nothing was definitive then, the brand just wishing to wait for a positive evolution.

Between the war in Ukraine and persistent supply problems, the decision to permanently close the Russian production plant was taken.

Toyota, which produced 100,000 vehicles there a year, has also ceased distribution in the country.

Mazda halts production in Vladivostok due to lack of parts.

If the closure of its site has not yet been decided, talks are underway regarding the future of the brand in the country.
