Toyota to resume production lines at 2 factories on March 4th after shipment suspension order is lifted. Toyota Industries, a member of the Toyota Motor Corporation group, was found to have violated the output tests required for certification procedures in three automotive engine models.

This factory shutdown affected not only the Land Cruiser 300 and Hiace, but also the Alphard, which is produced at the same factory. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism lifted the order to suspend shipments, stating that it had confirmed that the automobile engine complied with the standards.
