Events Arrested for killing his partner in a flat in Campdevànol
The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a man in Empuriabrava for the death of a 60-year-old woman of German nationality.
About four in the afternoon this Friday, the agents were required to go to a home in the town since inside there was the body of a woman with signs of violence.
The agents began an investigation and informed the court, which ordered the proceedings to be kept secret, and the forensic doctor.
According to initial information, the suspect shot the victim, who bled to death, and then fled in a stolen motorhome to the French border.
The agents raised the alarm and a police device was set up that ended with the arrest of the accused.
Specifically, it was police officers near the border who caught the suspect for his alleged relationship with this crime.
They stopped the vehicle and the Mossos were able to stop it.
The gun with which he allegedly killed the victim was found in the car.
The court ordered the secrecy of the proceedings.
The investigation is open to determine the causes of this crime, although it could be that the accused was stealing and the woman surprised him.
It is the sixth violent death that happens in Catalonia in a week.
