“The security forces ... on the territory of Kherson discovered and neutralized a sabotage and reconnaissance group that planned to carry out terrorist acts on civilian infrastructure facilities, the purpose of which was to disrupt the referendum events and intimidate the civilian population,” the report says.
During the search, more than 10 units of various weapons and two improvised explosive devices with striking elements equivalent to more than 1 kg of TNT were seized.
As previously reported, a series of terrorist attacks planned by the intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, including during the referendum, were prevented in the Kherson region.
