Mourning for Fabio Liverani: after a long illness, his wife Federica dies

Lazio, Brescia, Fiorentina, Lecce, Palermo, Genoa: from every club where

played or coached comes the condolences for the death of his wife

, who passed away today.

They had met when they were both 13.

They had two children, Lucrezia and Mattia, who receive the embrace of the teams in which the former midfielder, current Cagliari coach, played.

And the Sardinian club, on the official Twitter account, writes: "Cagliari Calcio joins the pain of Mr. Liverani for the loss of Federica". 

Lazio, where the Roman player played from 2001 to 2006, also sends a message of "deep condolences".

Also on Twitter, Lecce, led by Liverani between 2017 and 2020, writes: "US Lecce expresses its deepest condolences to Mr. Fabio Liverani for the premature loss of his dear wife and embraces his children Mattia and Lucrezia by participating in the great pain for the disappearance of the beloved mother ".
