In Sòfia (Bulgaria) Sofia Raffaeli writes history by winning the third gold in the world championships of rhythmic gymnastics.

The blue champion also wins in the ribbon.

In twenty-four hours she graduated three times world champion in individual tools.

In fact, after yesterday's golds in the hoop and ball, today the 18-year-old gymnast from Chiaravalle, bearer of the Fiamme Oro, defeated her opponents at the ribbon.

Bronze to the clubs to complete her extraordinary palmares.


At the ribbon Raffaeli won with 32,650 points ahead of the Bulgarian Stiliana Nikolova (31,850) and the Siberian, naturalized Slovenian, Ekaterina Vedeeneva (29,900).

At the clubs success for Darja Varfolomeev (33.550), silver at Nikolova (34.500) and bronze in Sofia with 35.250.  


With tonight's three medals, the Italian Gymnastics Federation rises to nine individual world championship medals in a sport that is exclusively female.
