Tokayev called on the parties to take all possible measures to stabilize the situation, as well as to abandon the military confrontation and immediately start negotiations.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the CSTO would hold a meeting on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
At the CSTO online summit, it was proposed to send the organization's Secretary General Stanislav Zas to the conflict zone on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
