Putin said that Russia exported 6.6 million tons of grain from May to August

“In May-August of this year, the Russian Federation supplied 6.6 million tons of grain to world markets, this is wheat, barley, corn,” he said at a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.

Putin added that 6.3 million tons were sent to the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called sly statements by Western countries that sanctions do not apply to Russian food and fertilizers.
