It's official.

Queen Elizabeth II died "peacefully" this Thursday at Balmoral at the age of 96 after 70 years of reign.

Concern gripped the United Kingdom this Thursday afternoon when Queen Elizabeth II's doctors said they were "concerned" about her state of health and that they "recommended that she be placed under medical supervision" .

Many British citizens then took the road to Buckingham Palace in London, fearing the announcement of his death.

Very fitting and poignant to see a rainbow, a biblical sign of peace, over Windsor Castle, her favorite home, as Buckingham Palace announces the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II

Minutes before the official announcement of the Queen's death, a double rainbow appeared in the gray London sky, just above Buckingham Palace.

Enough to pack the twittosphere, which saw in it the last sign of His Majesty to the address of his people.

Still others saw it as a sign of the meeting between Prince Philip, who died on April 9, 2021, and Elisabeth II.

A series of very moving tweets which shows the deep bond which united Elisabeth II and her subjects.

A rainbow landing in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this afternoon feels very appropriate, and perhaps even comforting.

The twittosphere got even more excited when a single rainbow this time appeared in Sydney, Australia, a member country of the Commonwealth, of which Elizabeth II was the head, and at Windsor Castle.

“A coincidence”, wonders a twittos.
