The IAEA = International Atomic Energy Agency, which conducted an investigation at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, where shelling continues and concerns about safety have been raised, has released a report, and shelling has been confirmed, such as damage near nuclear fuel storage facilities. I appealed for an immediate stop and suggested that the area around the nuclear power plant be designated as a safe zone.

The IAEA released a report on the 6th after a team of experts began investigating the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine on the 1st of this month.

In the report, the IAEA also posted a picture of a hole in the roof, saying that the shelling had caused damage in multiple places, including damage to buildings that house nuclear fuel and radioactive waste storage facilities.

In addition, he confirmed that Russian military vehicles were placed in various places in the facility, including the turbine building, and that Ukrainian engineers working at the nuclear power plant were placed under the control of the Russian military, resulting in strong stress and pressure. It is also pointed out that it is difficult to respond to ensuring safety under the ground.

He then called for an immediate cessation of shelling and suggested that the area around the nuclear power plant be set up as a safe area, stating that ``interim measures are necessary to prevent nuclear accidents that are feared by attacks until the conflict is over.'' .

The report, however, did not specify which side was responsible for the shelling that both Ukraine and Russia accused of attacking the other.

President Zelensky "supports any proposal for demilitarization around nuclear power plants"

Ukrainian President Zelensky released a new video on the 6th, referring to the report released by the IAEA = International Atomic Energy Agency, ``Emphasis that Russia is putting pressure on our nuclear power plant engineers, and the Russian military It's good to clearly mention the occupation," he said, showing a certain evaluation.

On the other hand, regarding the IAEA's proposal to set the area around the nuclear power plant as a safe zone, he said, "If this proposal is to demilitarize the area around the nuclear power plant, I will support it." I appealed again that the withdrawal of the army is essential.
