The trial of Benjamin Mendy and his co-accused Louis Saha Matturie, was adjourned this Thursday afternoon until Monday, due to new elements which must be brought to the attention of the lawyers.

During the three-day hearing this week, jurors heard testimony from two plaintiffs and several witnesses.

The first of the alleged victims was "pushed" by Benjamin Mendy to have sex with him.

Text messages that she exchanged with friends and colleagues were read, a witness reporting that the complainant seemed in a state of shock on the night of the alleged facts, another that she “

had taken a long time to realize

” that she had been raped.

The second woman to testify this week, hidden behind a curtain so as not to see the two defendants, recounted the assaults she said she suffered from Louis Saha Matturie.

In front of Mendy's mansion, then in a car.

And this detail: “

I met the [complainant 4] who was leaving with Mendy and asked me to come back in five minutes to see if she was fine

”, but the two men's guests never let her pass.

The trial is due to resume on Monday with the testimony of a sixth plaintiff.
