The gravel road to Matilda Olsson winds its way and the call is to just drive until the road ends.
Once there, an enthusiastic trio meets up on the farm and there is no mistaking that it is dogs that are in focus.
- I have five dogs, but it is these two, Darwin and Segra, who are certified forest fire dogs.
Doing social good
She is the only one of the trained crews in Sweden to have two.
Her dogs are litter siblings and she saw potential in them early on because they were safe and stable even as puppies.
There are several reasons why Malin chose to train her dogs.
- The dogs need an outlet for their energy and must be able to work and I wanted to benefit society and make a difference.
So it's a good combo.
