Mikati: I did not reject any unconditional gift to help Lebanon solve the electricity crisis

The media office of the Lebanese caretaker government, Najib Mikati, announced in a statement today, Wednesday, that he did not reject any unconditional donation to help Lebanon solve the electricity crisis, in response to a statement by the "Free Patriotic Movement" accusing him of obstructing the implementation of the electricity plan.

In his statement, Mikati's office said, "The Prime Minister does not reject any unconditional donation to help Lebanon solve the electricity crisis. On the contrary, he welcomed any donation if it conforms to the technical specifications in which the electrical production plants operate in Lebanon. There is no benefit in any bidding. policy in this file whose terms and rules are known.”
