Activists in Saudi Arabia have expressed solidarity with the imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, who was subjected to an Israeli campaign of incitement because of his last Friday prayer sermon in which he prayed against the Jews.

A member of the Saudi Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, had called upon the Jews in the last Friday sermon in the Great Mosque of Mecca, and said, “Oh God, be upon you with the usurping and occupying Jews, for they will not incapacitate you.

Israeli journalist Eddy Cohen is leading a campaign of incitement against Sheikh Bin Hamid, and he addressed Israeli government agencies and American parties with a message translated from the sermon, which he described as "inciting against the Jews," and said, "We will not allow anyone to insult us or the Israeli people."

In a series of tweets, in which Cohen attacked Sheikh bin Humaid and Saudi Arabia, the Israeli journalist described Saudi Arabia as not safe for Jews in light of what he called "continuous incitement." David Jalal, founder of the Abrahamic Peace Ambassadors Organization, described the sermon as "painful."

As for the Israeli Rabbi Jacob Herzog, he invited the imam of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Saleh bin Hamid to meet with him, and he said in a tweet to him, “If you have a problem with the Children of Israel, and our common father Ibrahim, it will be a pleasure to meet you to discuss this issue, I have a fruitful dialogue with many clerics in the Kingdom".

On the other hand, Saudi tweeters launched the hashtag "We are all Sheikh bin Humaid" through the communication platforms in Saudi Arabia, in solidarity and support for Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, and in response to the Israeli campaign of incitement against him after his supplication against the Jews in last Friday's sermon.

In their tweets, tweeters praised the Sheikh's sermon and supplication against the Jews, and described the Israeli attack on him as a "systematic campaign against senior scholars."

The Saudi researcher, Muhammad al-Hadal, wrote, "The Eminence of Sheikh bin Hamid is one of the moderate Salafi religious symbols known for his moderation. The war against him and targeting him with this systematic campaign is a war against the senior scholars in these holy countries."

And the singer, Fahd Al-Ghufaili, called for the defense of Sheikh bin Humaid, "who spoke out the truth in a time of procrastination and normalization."

For his part, the singer Firas Al-Ghamdi confirmed that the attack on Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid by what he called "human scum" is not new, explaining that "it does not target the sheikh personally, but rather targets all scholars to bring down their prestige and position in front of people because they are an impenetrable dam against their plans."

The attack on Sheikh #Saleh_bin_Hamid by Hath-lat humans is not new, and the attack does not target the Sheikh, may God protect him personally, but rather targets all scholars to bring down their prestige and position in front of the people because they are an impenetrable dam against their plans
