The Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services revealed its strategic plan "2022-2025", which includes three strategic goals, including 13 goals, while the Executive Director of the Corporation, Mishaal Abdul Karim Julfar, confirmed that the Corporation has formed specialized teams to supervise and follow up on the implementation of the plan to ensure that all its goals are achieved on time.

He explained that the strategic plan for Dubai Ambulance includes three basic strategic goals based on pioneering specialized ambulance work, providing diverse and sustainable resources for the future, and providing agile, efficient and effective institutional systems.

Julfar told "Emirates Today" that the foundation worked, through its new strategy, to consolidate the values ​​of leadership in institutional work, to compete globally, and to provide exceptional services.

In record time, he also stressed that the agile and flexible transition in crisis management is a major component of the institution's goals, with the changes the world is witnessing in the field of health and other conditions, explaining that strengthening partnerships with the government and private sectors will support the sustainability of services.

With regard to the first strategic goal, “Pioneering in specialized emergency work,” the Foundation explained that it aims through it to develop academic programs dedicated to the field of emergency, and to attract students and stakeholders to support programs at the local, regional and global levels.

She added: "The Foundation also aims to develop emergency, specialized and pioneering ambulances with the aim of consolidating Dubai's position as a center of excellence in providing ambulance services and pre-hospital medical care with international specifications and standards."

And she continued: "The Foundation also aims, within its first axis, to develop an integrated, agile and specialized system in the field of crisis and disaster management, by evaluating current plans and developing integrated policies, plans and procedures in cooperation with partners from different sectors to enhance preparedness and response to crises, disasters and emergencies."

With regard to the second strategic objective of Dubai Ambulance “providing diverse and sustainable sources for the future”, the Foundation aims through it to enhance financial efficiency by rationalizing expenditures, diversifying and developing institutional revenue sources through accurate financial planning, evaluating and analyzing the cost structure of the Foundation’s business and identifying areas for improving efficiency and governance related decisions to ensure rationalize it.

The second objective, within the second strategic objective, is to manage assets and resources efficiently and effectively, and to ensure their sustainability and continuity, through the effective management of assets and resources, and includes the development, operation and maintenance of institutional assets and properties, so that they are safe, easy to use and sustainable, and enhance the return on their investment.

The Foundation pointed out that the third objective of the second strategic objective is to develop specialized volunteer programs, by promoting positive citizenship at the institutional and individual levels and the desire to volunteer in the emergency field among community members and empowering them with life-saving skills.
