The Foreign Ministry will summon the Russian ambassador in the coming week, Foreign Minister Ann Linde's (S) press secretary Adriana Haxhimustafa told TT on Friday evening.

The question from parties

Ann Linde has been asked in writing by both the Liberals and the Sweden Democrats if she intends to act, Dagens Nyheter's poll shows.

- It's about marking against Russia so that they don't continue to do this.

And that we get an apology to Sweden and above all to the family and relatives, says the Liberals' foreign policy spokesperson Joar Forssell to the newspaper.

"Reprehensible and tasteless"

Ann Linde writes in a response to DN that the government has noted the post about the Swedish citizen's death.

"The text is reprehensible and tasteless.

The embassy does not mention at all that it is Russia that started the war and only Russia can end it," writes Ann Linde to the newspaper.

The Foreign Ministry has summoned the Russian ambassador several times to condemn the war of aggression against Ukraine and the unacceptable Russian aggression, Linde adds.
