According to TASS, on August 3-5, Blinken will be in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), where he will participate in meetings of foreign ministers in the US-ASEAN and East Asia Summit formats, as well as the ASEAN Regional Forum on Security.
At the same time, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will also be in Phnom Penh on August 4-5, the agency writes.
Earlier, a State Department spokesman said that the United States requested a conversation between Blinken and Lavrov, Moscow confirmed receipt of the request.
The Russian Foreign Minister said that the Russian side is coordinating the time of contact with the US Secretary of State.
