Remote work on Thursday and Friday for private sector facilities in areas affected by rain and torrential rain
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation directed private sector establishments whose workplaces are located in areas affected by strong rain and torrential rain, especially in the emirates of Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, to have their non-essential workers working according to the remote work system for Thursday and Friday.
The ministry stressed the necessity of calculating the period of time that the worker spends in moving between his place of residence and his place of work within the normal working hours, in the case of the worker whose work during the two days referred to is necessary in the aforementioned establishments.
