Before the war, Tania Burinova and her friends used to go to techno parties and shrimp festivals almost every weekend.
- Those were our normal lives, but now volunteering is the new normal instead, she says.
Help in more villages
The cleaning combined with scraping is an initiative of the organization Repair Together Initiative.
The cleaning in Jahidne was the group's eighth project, and in the future they plan to help in more villages.
- People left their homes and their houses were destroyed.
We want to help them rebuild the houses and clean up the area, says Tania.
