Mizintsev said that the Ukrainian authorities had prepared a provocation at a dangerous facility in order to accuse Russian troops of allegedly creating a threat of radioactive contamination of certain areas.
According to him, Ukrainian nationalists have mined storage facilities for radioactive and chemical waste from a lead smelter in Konstantinovka and plan to blow them up when they retreat from the city.
Mizintsev also said that the Ukrainian military had mined bridges in the Zaporozhye region with the aim of provocation.
