Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin, who went to Japan, met Prime Minister Kishida today (19th).

Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin enters the residence of the Japanese prime minister.



The meeting between Minister Park and Prime Minister Kishida lasted 20 minutes.



Minister Park said that he first expressed condolences on the death of former Prime Minister Abe and delivered President Yun Seok-yeol's message about improving Korea-Japan relations.

Prime Minister Kishida is said to have said that the bilateral relations should be developed based on common values. .



Minister Park said he would try to come up with a desirable solution before the assets of Japanese companies were sold in relation to compensation for victims of forced labor, and Prime Minister Kishida said he had listened.



Earlier, Minister Park visited the LDP and paid condolences to former Prime Minister Abe.



Motegi, secretary-general of the Liberal Democratic Party, and Nukaga, president of the Japan-Korea Federation, also met to discuss ways to improve Korea-Japan relations.



Japan is in a position to watch for Minister Park's remarks regarding compensation for forced labor.



They confirmed their intention to improve relations, but South Korea still has not come up with a concrete solution.
