Politician Buchanan said about the danger for the United States in the event of a war against Russia over Finland

According to him, in such a situation, the United States will face a country with a large arsenal of nuclear weapons.

“No Cold War president would have thought to make such a commitment to risk the survival of our nation to defend a country thousands of miles away that was never vital to the US,” Buchanan told CBS.

He noted that such a decision would be "crazy."
