"They discussed ongoing negotiations aimed at the unimpeded export of Ukrainian food products through the Black Sea," Guterres' office said in a statement.
Earlier, Guterres, speaking at an event dedicated to food security, said that world hunger could be avoided only if food products from Ukraine and Russia, as well as Russian fertilizers, returned to world markets.
According to Guterres, we need to work together to develop bold and coordinated policies.
