Texas sues U.S. government over federal abortion guidance

　　It is reported that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said in its latest guidance that federal law requires hospitals to provide abortion services in medical emergencies, or when a patient’s health or life is at risk. The Texas lawsuit said the U.S. government’s move” trying to turn every emergency room in the country into a walk-in abortion clinic" and defying the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade, the state asked the court to issue a permanent injunction barring the government from enforcing the guidelines.
