FAS did not receive a petition to acquire KFC

This was reported to TASS in the press service of the regulator.

“Until now, the application for this transaction has not been submitted to the FAS Russia for consideration.

Upon receipt, the service will evaluate it for compliance with antitrust laws, ”the message says.

Earlier it was reported that the owner of KFC is negotiating the sale of restaurants in Russia. 

Georgy Ostapkovich, director of the Center for Market Research at the Institute for Statistical Research and Economics of Knowledge, Higher School of Economics, commented on this news in an interview with RT.
