The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) has opened a case against Sberbank PJSC on grounds of violation of the law on advertising. The FAS says that SberBank PJSC's advertising of a 12% interest rate was misleading.

It also said that the information about the rate was written in a font that was difficult to read. The case is expected to be heard in court in the next few days, according to the FAS. The hearing will be held in front of a panel of judges.
