The Haiti delegation who participated in the Special Olympics held in the United States disappeared one after another.

Oseola County Police Department in Florida released the personal information on the 12th, saying that Louis Jacques Wilgens, a Haitian national, has been missing since the 11th (local time).

According to police, the last time he got off the bus at Disney World Resort wearing a Special Olympics uniform on the 11th, one day before his scheduled return to Haiti, he did not return.

Prior to this, on the 8th, six members of the Haiti delegation from the Special Olympics went missing.

The men, aged 18-32, disappeared after being spotted near a stadium.

The Special Olympics is a four-year international competition in which people with intellectual disabilities participate, and this summer event was held in Orlando, Florida from the 5th to the 12th.

Of the six players from the Haiti delegation that went missing last week, only one is a national soccer team player with an intellectual disability, while the rest are known as soccer team officials.

It is not known what happened to them or whether they disappeared voluntarily.

It is not uncommon for athletes from countries with many hopes to immigrate to the United States, such as Cuba, to visit the United States to participate in international competitions and then choose asylum.

Oseola County police said they do not consider the missing persons at risk, the Associated Press reported.
