France's re-elected President Emmanuel Macron has the prospect of a majority in the National Assembly after the first round of the general election.

Extrapolations saw the center camp of the President on Sunday evening with 25.2 to 25.6 percent about the same as the left alliance with 25.2 to 26.1 percent.

When it comes to the allocation of seats after the second round of voting, however, forecasts assume that the camp of the liberal president will have a clear majority.
