The Minister in charge of Europe is in fact facing Caroline Mecary (Nupes) who intends to “snatch” this constituency from him.
Because if he is eliminated, Clément Beaune, like the other ministers, will have to leave his post in government.

In the first round, the minister gathers 35.8% of the votes.
As for Caroline Mecary, she is ahead of him with 40.3% of the votes cast.
