“Today I am happy to announce that the first wagons have left Melitopol towards Crimea — 11 wagons from the Melitopol elevator,” said Balitsky.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, announced the opening of a road connection along the mainland to the Crimea.

Shoigu also noted that the Ministry of Defense and Russian Railways have created conditions for the resumption of full-fledged traffic between Russia, Donbass, Ukraine and Crimea on six railway sections.
