“We have consistently made it clear that we want serious and consistent diplomacy with the DPRK, but [the country's leader] Kim Jong-un refused to cooperate,” Thomas-Greenfield quoted TASS as saying.
According to her, the United States will continue to consider sanctions against the DPRK.
Earlier in the UN Security Council, Russia and China vetoed a US draft resolution to strengthen sanctions against the DPRK.
