The State Duma adopted a law on the abolition of the age limit for military service under a contract

This is stated on the website of the lower house of parliament.

Currently, the age limit for the first contract is 40 years for Russians and 30 years for foreign citizens.

According to experts, the abolition of the age limit for concluding a contract will make it possible to equip the army with specialists with extensive experience.
