U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blincoln
U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blincoln and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are reportedly scheduled to visit the Ukrainian capital Kiiu to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Foreign media such as Reuters and Bloomberg reported that President Zelensky said at a press conference on the 23rd local time, "People are coming from America tomorrow. I will meet with the US Secretary of State and Defense."
The Washington Post reported that the U.S. Department of Defense declined to confirm the content, and the White House said it had "nothing to say".
If the talks are confirmed, Bloomberg reported that it would be the first visit by a top U.S. official to Ukraine since the Russian invasion, and it is unclear whether President Zelensky's remarks will affect the schedule of the visit.
