China Overseas Chinese Network, April 13. According to the WeChat public account of "Italian Chinatown", on the evening of April 9, local time, two Chinese women in Prato, Italy were attacked. The military police of Prato and Iolo intervened. A young man was captured after a brief escape.

For months, a local gang of teenagers had been operating at the Omnia center in Prato, disrupting public order and, in some cases, attacking customers.

Prato's gendarmerie succeeded in identifying the gang after a careful investigation, which began with reports from a cinema and a shopping mall, as well as households who frequented the mall.

The group consisted of about 10 boys, aged between 14 and 16, all Italians from the region.

On the night of April 9, three of them were identified after intimidating and physically assaulting two young Chinese women, one of whom was beaten.

The three were tracked down by military police from the Prato and Iolo precincts, aided by colleagues from the SIO in Florence.

They were then reported to the Prosecutor's Office for Minors in Florence.

Further investigations are underway to verify possible responsibility for other violent incidents that have occurred in recent days.
