The process of moving the presidential office to the Ministry of National Defense in Yongsan, Seoul begins today (7th) in earnest.

The government held an ad hoc cabinet meeting yesterday and decided to spend 36 billion won in reserve expenses for the relocation of the presidential office.

The first to fifth floors of the 10 floors of the main building of the Ministry of National Defense will contain the presidential office, secretariat, bodyguards, and aides offices, while the 6th floor and above will be used by the public-private joint committee.

Currently, the main facilities of the Ministry of National Defense are scheduled to be distributed to the former government building and service support group by the end of June.
