A violent attack occurred on Sunday in Tréméloir (Côtes-d'Armor) during an amateur football match.
A young local player suddenly attacked an athlete from the competing team of Ploumagoar, reports France Bleu Armorique.
"He stalked him"
The referee had just whistled a foul between two players when the aggression occurred.
The victim was grabbed, and received several punches and blows with spikes to the face and neck.
“I have already seen fights, very hard contacts, testifies the coach of Ploumagoar.
But there, he went after him on the ground, […] I had never seen that.

The victim, aged 18, was taken care of by firefighters and hospitalized with a head injury.
The young footballer has already filed a complaint and his club will do the same.
