The Liberal Democratic Party's working team on Russia's military invasion has announced that Japan will actively accept people evacuating from Ukraine, and has put together a proposal calling on the government to urgently improve the system.

A working team of the LDP to discuss human rights issues held an urgent meeting on the 2nd as many people from Ukraine have been evacuated from Ukraine due to the military invasion by Russia.

At the beginning, Mr. Sato, Chairman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said, "We are required to accept refugees and support the relatives of Ukrainian people in the country. A sense of speed is important."

At the meeting, Japan also announced that it would actively accept evacuees, urgently establish the necessary systems, and cooperate with neighboring countries and international organizations in Ukraine to provide humanitarian assistance such as protecting evacuees. We have put together a proposal to ask the government to do things.

The Liberal Democratic Party will soon formally decide and submit it to the government.
