Meiji Restoration “Security Clearance” Bill Propose consultation to Liberal Democratic Party. The government is currently submitting a bill to the Diet that would create a "security clearance" system.
The bill would limit access to information important to economic security to those whose credibility has been verified by the government. The Japan Restoration Association proposed that working-level people discuss the contents of the bill with the Liberal Democratic party, and the Lib Dem Party said it would consider it. The issue of exporting defense equipment jointly developed with other countries to third countries, such as the next generation of fighter jets, is currently under discussion.
