Regarding the bill to create a "security clearance" system, the Japan Restoration Association proposed that working-level people discuss the contents of the bill with the Liberal Democratic Party, and the Liberal Democratic Party said it would consider it.

The government is currently submitting a bill to the Diet that would create a "security clearance" system that would limit access to information important to economic security to those whose credibility has been verified by the government.

Regarding this, Endo, chairman of the National Assembly Measures Committee of the Japan Restoration Party, met with Hamada, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party's Diet Measures Committee, and said that he understood the purpose of the bill, and proposed that working-level officials discuss the content. I told them my ideas for consideration.

Mr. Endo also stated that he would like to discuss with the Liberal Democratic Party the issue of exporting defense equipment jointly developed with other countries to third countries, such as the next generation of fighter jets, which is currently under discussion between the Liberal Democratic Party and New Komeito.

After the meeting, Mr. Endo told reporters, ``The Diet is all about politics and money, but we must not neglect discussions about Japan's future.I want to have in-depth discussions.''

Furthermore, the Liberal Democratic Party's Acting Chairman of the National Assembly Measures Committee Mihogawa, who was present at the meeting, said, ``There has been a request to create a forum for consultations, and I would like to discuss within the party what kind of format would be best.''
