At 20.10, the rescue service was alerted that smoke was coming from the front door of one in an apartment in a row of terraced houses on Stålgatan.
Once in place, the rescue service was able to quickly extinguish the fire.
- There is no information on whether the fire has spread, says Magnus Bengtsson, commanding officer at the Central Rescue Center.
One person was found in the apartment and handed over to the care.
Neither the police nor the rescue service currently have any information about the damage situation.
According to information from a freelance photographer on site, the person must have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
