“It is planned to revise certain elements of administrative offenses in the field of migration, as well as establish administrative liability for foreign citizens in the form of expulsion (instead of the existing administrative expulsion) not only for migration offenses, but also for committing other administrative offenses, the composition of which will be determined by the draft of the new Code of Administrative Offenses, developed by the Ministry of Justice of Russia, ”TASS reports the press center of the department.

It is specified that such violations are planned to include extremist, terrorist, corruption offenses, as well as traffic violations while intoxicated.

The head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, previously noted an increase in the number of crimes committed by foreigners.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called for tough measures against migrants who violate the law, and for extremism, urgently expel violators from the country.
